Shannon & Riley’s Downtown Dallas Engagement Session

When Shannon told me about their engagement story, I couldn’t stop smiling. What she thought was a casual trip to Riley’s family’s beach house in Morro Bay turned out to be quite the surprise. On a quiet beach, just the two of them, Riley proposed, and when they returned to the house, Shannon was greeted by their families and close friends (even her best friends who had flown in from out of state!). It was the perfect blend of intimate and celebratory.

During our session, we wanted to reflect what they love most: spending time together and exploring their city. They told me one of their favorite things to do in Dallas is wandering through uptown and downtown, admiring the skyline, and finding new coffee shops and restaurants. That sense of curiosity and joy is exactly what I wanted to capture in their photos.

Shannon and Riley are easy to be around, warm, genuine, and totally in sync. I loved getting a glimpse into their love story.
